I have a specific Cd-r burning problem, can anyone help?

I recently asked a similar question about this same thing. I am simply asking it again cause the person that answered it, needed more info, so this is the question restated with all the info. I attempted to burn several Cd-R. The discs were 700 megabytes, or 80 minutes long. When I tried to play them, they wouldnt play past the second song, or the first few minutes. I'm pretty sure I didnt burn them in MP3 format, because everytime I put around 15-20 songs on the cd, and it was almost full. Also, if I did burn them in MP3, I wouldnt know how to change that. I acquired the music from itunes, just saying, if it matters. I burned them through windows media player, using the burn button. I've been told that any cds are right for burning. and that there are nothing wrong with the cds, but I'm not sure. Just in case it is the cds, and if theres been some sorta recall on them or anyone else is having problems with them, the exact cd is 15CRM80RX. If you think I burned them in MP3, please tell me how to change that through windows media player. If you think its better to do it through itunes, please walk me through all the steps of burning a cd through itunes.
