Cat advice outdoor cat stuck indoor due to broken leg?

Ok i've got an indoor/Outdoor cat that has a broken femur. The vet said keep immobilized so i've limited her to a bedroom with a window. All day and night she sits on the window seal crying to get outside. My question is how to keep her calm indoors without the crying at the window seal? One problem i have is that ive trained her to use that window to come in and out for restroom and play outdoors. but have since closed and sealed cat door to restrict her from going out with dogs running around my neighborhood and the broken femur. I just cant seem to take the wild out of her.
